In the software industry, the "Penguin" has become synonymous with the Linux Operating system.
Linux is part of the Open Source Software movement; a group who are fighting to preserve our freedom in the technological space.
Despite my passion for open source, there are others who can do better justice when explaining the issues involved. Particularity for For members of the Church, I would suggest clicking on "Penguin in the Pew" (which will open a PDF document) and having a read.
There are four penguins on the home page. Three of them move, they represent three people at St Martins who are primarily Linux users; myself, my wife and my son.
