St. Martin's undertook a neighbourhood consultation in Talke and Butt Lane called Planning for Real© in 2006, which was in partnership with:

Staffs Youth service,
Staffs Wildlife Trust,
Aspire Housing,
The Clough Hall Residents Group
Staffordshire Library Service (including Talke Library)

A forum has now been created from within the original consulation team which will meet a few times a year and attempt to progress the priorities that were identified in the process.
