Alleluia! Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia! We experience the same power of God at work in the Holy Mass as we do in the glorious resurrection of Our Lord. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is present in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. When we receive Him in Holy Communion, we receive the risen and ascended Lord - His soul and divinity. He deigns to enter our hearts and souls - to feed and sustain us with His Grace so that we may be strengthened for His service and grow ever more into His likeness. Alleluia! Christ is risen. Canon Gary Ecclestone joined us for our PCC meeting last Thursday and went through the data results of our survey. The results were interesting and informative and more positive than we all expected. We now know those areas where we are strong and are able to move forward to address those areas where we need to focus our energy. This will allow us to target our Parish Mission response accordingly. THE PARISH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will take place on the revised date of Sunday 28th, April. The AGM reports will be available from next Sunday. VISIT OF THE BISHOP FOR A PONTIFICAL MASS OF BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION The Bishop is with us on the evening of the 2nd May at 6.30 pm for a Solemn Mass during which Hamad will be Baptised and Confirmed. Please make a note of the time and date and come and support him on this important milestone in his spiritual journey. REPOSITORY - CHURCH GIFT SHOP This is open before and after Mass on Sundays and weekdays selling a wide range of items from religious cards, rosaries, books, crucifixes and icons to mugs, fridge magnets, church diaries, pens and note books. Items can be seen in the glass case by the font at the back of church and in the glass case in the Vestry Hall. Please take a look. OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL takes place each and every Sunday. If you have children between the ages of 5 - 12 they will be most welcome from 10 am in the Vestry Hall. Hope to see you there. For the elderly, housebound and those living in residential and nursing homes. For our Ambulance Service and for our other Emergency Service Staff and for Milton Keynes Hospital and all who work there. For Father Victor, Father Ian, Father Tunji and for all parish clergy as they seek to continue to make present in our midst the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass, the other Sacraments of Christ and offer continuing Pastoral care.
