1st Jan 2022
My Dear Friends, The Epiphany, or manifestation of God’s glory, sums up for us the whole Christmas season. Through the the Wise Men and their gifts, through the voice that speaks from Heaven at the Lord’s Baptism, and through the working of the Lord’s first miracle at the wedding feast in Cana of Galilee we are given glimpses of the Divinity of Jesus. Of His real nature and power. In acknowledgment of this, like the wise men, we come to worship this person, our God, to praise Him for His wonders and to offer Him our thanksgiving, which is perfectly expressed in the Holy Eucharist which we offer.
