23rd Oct 2021

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we live out our lives in the Spirit, we are continually in need of God’s healing power in Christ to cure our blindness to His ways and our deafness to His Word. If our faith is strong enough for us to cry out ‘Jesus, have pity on me,’ then we may be sure that He will hear us and that He will save us. Our God is always faithful.

WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS. At the present time we have a real shortage of volunteers to help with teas and coffees after the Parish Mass on Sunday mornings. We are now down to three people who find themselves doing this continuously. Could we have some more volunteers please?

CHANGES TO RECEIVING HOLY COMMUNION DURING THE PARISH MASS. We now use the Communion rails, once again, for Holy Communion. However, to maintain a safe distancing, four people at a time will be communicated, kneeling at Altar Rail. As soon as you have received, please make room for those behind you. If then you then would like to receive from the chalice you may do so by kneeling at the Altar Rails in Saint Catherine’s Chapel, to the right of the main Altar.
