Dear Brothers and Sisters,

OTHER NOTICES
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TWO ENDEAVOURS-
1. COFFEE AFTER MASS - Now that the National situation is rapidly stabilising, we would like to return to offering tea and coffee once more after the Parish Mass (albeit with disposable cups). We therefore need volunteers to help serving in the kitchen and to wipe down the tables afterwards. Could we have a few volunteers please? Ideally we would like to look at getting things up and running by the end of this month.
2. CLEARING UTILITY ROOM IN PREPARATION FOR ROOF REPAIRS AND REDECORATION - Work is to begin in two weeks time on repairing the leaks in the roof over the toilets, kitchen and utility room and replacing the plaster ceiling and redecorating in the utility room. In preparation for that the Utility room must be cleared and everything moved temporarily into the Vestry Hall. Volunteers please?
CHURCH BIG CLEAN - Saturday 10th July at 3 pm.
We want to give the Church a much needed clean and polish. If you can lend a hand or two that would be great. Let’s show that we love our Church!
FENNY POPPERS FESTIVAL - Sunday 15th August 2021
INDEED IT IS TAKING PLACE
Advanced notice that we will need bottles, alcoholic and otherwise for our Bottle Tombola and prizes for our Raffle.
There will be a crate located in the Vestry Hall for items donated.
We also need firm pledges of support from
Individual church members to man the various stalls on the day.
We would also welcome ideas as to new and different stalls that we could run.
This is our parish’s major fund raising event which after the year we have had is desperately needed. So please be generous with your time and commitment.
IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A DONATION TOWARDS THE COST OF THE FORTHCOMING CHURCH REPAIRS.
CHEQUES CAN BE MADE PAYABLE TO:
Saint Martin’s P. C. C. No. 1 A/c
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR CONTINUED GENEROSITY.
