THE SECOND SUNDAY IN LENT - 25th February 2024
My Dear Friends,
Our Lord’s Transfiguration- that glimpse of His most divine glory, encourages us to be confident that we can be saints and that we can be with God eternally if we are faithful to Him now. As the saints slowly became more like Christ our God so God’s own radiant light began to fill them. This is what the halo’s represent in the depiction of the saints in art. We too are on this journey of becoming not better Christians, but Saints. And God’s glory shining in and through Our Lord in that moment of Transfiguration confirms His divinity, His purpose and the destiny that He has won for us.
