28th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME - 15th October 2023

My Dear Friends,

The Holy Scriptures often compare the joys of Heaven to a sumptuous banquet which God offers to the friends who love and serve Him. As we participate in the precious gift that He has given to us, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we pray that we may be found worthy, at the end of this life, to take our place at God’s eternal banquet.

PARISH NEWS

THE RE-CARPETING OF THE CHURCH FLOORS

On Wednesday of this last week, the carpets in the Sanctuary and the rest of the Church were taken out. It was hoped that the tiled flooring under the carpet might be able to be restored. Sadly, however, the state of the flooring in the sanctuary will not allow for this. You will be able to see this for yourselves this Sunday.

Therefore the plan is to move forward this week to re-carpet the sanctuary and by the following Sunday, the 22nd October this will be completed. Hopefully this will brighten and freshen up the appearance of the Church. Father Victor will give more detail this Sunday.
