THE TWENTY-FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME - 18th September 2022

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, In our readings this Sunday, the prophet Amos speaks out against those who exploit the poor and helpless and Our Lord makes it clear that we cannot serve both God and money. A true Christian uses the riches that have come his way with responsibility, favouring always, those in need.

Today we remember at Mass and commend the soul of our late Queen Elizabeth. We ask on this Sunday, the eve of her funeral, for her sins to be forgiven and that she may be welcomed into the Kingdom of the one she sought to serve in faithfulness through her life. May she find there a place of refreshment, light and peace.
