The Feast of the Most Holy Trinity - 31st May 2026
My dear people,
This Sunday, the Church gathers to celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, a sacred confession that God is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, whose communion and love overflow into creation and into our lives. In the observance of Trinity Sunday, the liturgy invites us to contemplate the mystery that surpasses full human understanding, yet is given to us as a living reality by which all of life finds its meaning.
The readings and the Creed invite us to deepen our participation in this divine life: to trust in the Father’s gracious plan, to walk with the Son who reveals the Father and makes reconciliation possible, and to open our hearts to the Holy Spirit who animates, sanctifies, and unites us in truth. As we gather, we are reminded that our baptism has united us to this divine communion, and our daily fidelity - prayer, sacramental life, charity - becomes a response to the love that created, saved, and sustains us.
My prayer is that this holy feast may deepen our awareness of God’s triune presence in our homes, our parish family, and in our parish. Let us live as children who belong to the Father, brothers and sisters who follow the Son, and temples of the Spirit who dwell in grace. May our worship be shaped by reverent liturgy, sound doctrine, and compassionate action, so that our families become schools of the faith and our Church be a sign of unity in a world that is so often divided by fear and hatred.
May God bless you and your loved ones on this Feast of the Holy Trinity.
